Applying to universities
Applications flow either through uni-assist (a shared clearing house that checks documents for many universities) or directly on a university's portal. The winter intake is the main one; deadlines cluster around 15 July, with many competitive programs closing earlier.
Lock the intake and deadline per program
RecommendedDecide winter (starts ~October, apply by ~15 July) or summer (starts ~April, apply by ~15 January). Then record each program's exact deadline, many close 1 to 3 months earlier than the university-wide date, and uni-assist needs extra weeks to pre-check documents.
